Everything booked by the clock instead of by night runs on the same engine: conference and meeting rooms, event spaces, sauna, spa, coworking desks, parking and equipment. Its own calendar, pricing and rules — but the same booking, guest and invoice as the rest of Stayo.
Resources & resource types
Create resource types such as conference room, sauna or parking, then add the actual resources with capacity, location, images and equipment.
Aurora for 24 and Fjällen for 80 are sold correctly — without mixing them up with hotel rooms.
Time-based booking
Book 08:00–12:00 or 13:00–17:00 with minimum and maximum bookable duration per resource type.
The right model for anything sold by the hour, half day or full day.
Turnaround time & buffers
Add buffers before and after each booking, for example 30 minutes for re-setup and cleaning.
The next group walks into a finished room — no rush between sessions.
Double-booking protection
Overlapping times are blocked automatically, buffers included.
Two groups can never end up in the same space at once.
Setup style
Set the layout per booking — theatre, classroom, boardroom, u-shape, cabaret, banquet or custom.
Staff can see exactly what needs changing before the next booking.

Set opening hours per weekday, overrides for holidays, and block resources for maintenance or internal use.
Guests can only book times you can actually deliver.
